WYS (Wonyoung Seal Corporation) is a South Korean manufacturer of hydraulic and pneumatic seals. The company was founded in 1988 and operates in the field of sealing systems for industrial applications and heavy machinery. WYS supplies products to over 40 countries, as well as to more than 300 companies in South Korea. [1]
Over the years, WYS has developed its own technical and development activities. The Research and Development (R&D) Center was established in 2001. The company develops its own seal materials, including high-strength polyurethane materials. [2]
WYS's history includes many years of work with manufacturers and companies in the construction and heavy machinery sectors. Among them are Hyundai Heavy Industries, Doosan Infracore, JCB, Tata Hitachi, DY Power and Hyundai Cylinder. WYS supplies original seal kits for Doosan Infracore, and in 2010 the production of the seals used was localized. [2]
The product range includes hydraulic and pneumatic seals with different designs and materials, including PTFE, NBR, polyurethane, POM and PA, depending on the intended use of the specific product. The WYS catalog contains detailed technical characteristics and operating conditions for the different profiles. [3]
The company maintains a quality and environmental management system and holds certificates, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, as well as an R&D center certificate and a certificate for reliability of materials and components. [4]
