The type S8 is a highly efficient one-way compression seal for piston rods. It consists of a fabric-reinforced "U"-shaped ring in which a rubber energizing element is embedded.

The S8 type is a highly efficient one-way compression type seal for piston rods. It consists of a fabric-reinforced "U"-shaped ring in which a rubber energizer is embedded. At low pressure, the pre-compression of the sealing section provides a low-pressure preload to obtain an effective seal at high pressure. When the pressure increases, the rubber component exerts force on the "U"-shaped component to deform it, increasing the contact surface of the seal and thus improving the sealing effect. The fabric parts are used to protect the rubber parts due to their high strength and durability, and the fabric parts can maintain the oil film to provide low friction and reduce wear.

Working pressure: ≤25MPa
Working temperature: -30℃~+100℃
Reciprocating speed: ≤0.5m/s
Extrusion gap: The large gap size that appears on the non-pressure side during seal operation is crucial for the sealing function. When the gap size is larger than the value given in the table below, a plastic retaining ring should be installed behind the seal.
